Preface:
Prioritizing the data given from the article over what’s said on stream (eg Article said one Showcase in “2 or 3 Carbonite” boxes, but it was said one Showcase in “every two displays or so” on stream @7:55).
Please correct me if I got anything wrong. The data is sourced from https://starwarsunlimited.com/articles/packs-of-prestige and the 1/08/2025 livestream:
Carbonite Edition Booster Breakdown
A CE pack has 16 cards:
1 Leader card - Guaranteed Hyperspace, with a Showcase variants about once in every 2 or 3 CE boxes.
7 Regular Foil cards - Always 2 UC, at least 1 R/L, with a 1/4 pack chance to get another R/L.
1 Prestige card - There will be three tiers:
Tier 1: “normal” tier, non-foil, ~2/3 chance
Tier 2: Prestige-exclusive foiling, ~1/3 chance
Tier 3: Has the same foiling as the second while also being serialized. Has spot gloss and a gold frame (Tier 1 & Tier 2 have a silver frame). There will only be 250 serialized versions of each Prestige card for the entire print. Very rarely.
5 Hyperspace cards - at least 2-3 are UC or better, with a chance of multiple Rares or better.
2 Hyperspace foil cards - With at least one of them being UC or better.
Prestige Card Pictures
[Not sure why they didn’t add some sort of foil/shimmer effect/symbol for the Tier2 card graphic, I was initially pretty confused between the middle two cards when I first saw the graphic before watching the stream]
(Pictures shown are Prestige Tier 2)
Miscellaneous Info
The Prestige’s card pool is made up of 36 unique ships, and the set only contains 36 unique ships.
Thanks to the frameless design, there will be two different diptych sets of unique ships (multiple cards forming a single mural).
A couple of ship unit horizontal cards.
English only, will be released in all markets, and legal in tournament play.
Theoretically draftable, but not optimized for it.
MSRP Pricing: $24.99/pack (~$300/box [12 packs/box]).
Hints for Future Carbonite Sets
Will be designed with rarity and iconic characters in mind.
